I: Things You Should Know After the Calorimeter Experiment

1. Rinse the bomb cup clean, scrub the threads, and check for any mechanical damage on the upper part of the bomb cup. Note: Do not invert the bomb cup.

2. Check whether the sealing ring is worn or damaged during combustion. If there is air leakage due to poor sealing, it should be replaced.

3. The actual water temperature in the inner cylinder differs by more than 5°C from the average inner cylinder water temperature during heat capacity calibration.

II: Things You Should Know After the Calorimeter Experiment

1. The coal calorimeter and biomass calorimeter should maintain a sufficient amount of distilled water; otherwise, the calorific value measurement results will be inaccurate, with deviations potentially as high as 500 kcal.

2. The water in the fuel calorimeter, calorimeter, and calorimeter machine should be replaced regularly. Dirty water in the calorimeter and calorimeter machine will lead to inaccurate calorific value test results.

III: Things You Should Know After the Calorimeter Experiment

The following situations require recalibration, i.e., recalibrating the machine:

1. The calorimeter has been moved significantly during normal use;

2. Major components of the calorimeter oxygen bomb are replaced, such as the oxygen bomb lid, connecting ring, etc.;

3. The calorimeter thermometer is replaced.
